Intelwire Blog LaunchesI've decided to add a blog to the site, as a place to highlight new document additions that might not need a full story, and so that I can quickly add documents with some context but without necessarily investing the time for a full exposition.
I also expect to use this space for the occasional comment and analysis. For instance, an upcoming item will look at al Qaeda's roots in Somalia, including some considerations that are relevant to the current situation there.
Finally, it's my hope this will provide an opportunity to highlight my work in other media, such as radio and television, and to offer more content more often, keeping the site as fresh and current as possible.
Feel free to drop me a line with your comments or questions. I can be reached through the e-mail link on the top right of my resume page.

"Jessica Stern and J.M. Berger's new book, "ISIS," should be required reading for every politician and policymaker... Their smart, granular analysis is a bracing antidote to both facile dismissals and wild exaggerations... a nuanced and readable account of the ideological and organizational origins of the group." -- Washington Post
