More Al Qaeda in EgyptThe mainstream media has finally noticed what you read about here two weeks ago -- al Qaeda in Egypt. The experts are, so far, dismissive of the idea that al Qaeda has operational influence in Egypt. I fear they'll have to learn the hard way. al Qaeda sprang from Egypt, and its most capable membership (prior to 9/11) was overwhelmingly Egyptian. The network reaches into Egypt, there is no question. I will be posting some more historical documents on this topic in the near future. The two below were posted about a month ago.Labels: Weblog Views expressed on INTELWIRE are those of the author alone.
