A.Q. Khan Added To Treasury List
The U.S. Treasury has frozen the assets of
A.Q. Khan -- the scientist who created Pakistan's nuclear program. Khan was added to the Specially Designated Nationals list, used to seize assets from suspected terrorists. Treasury also designated companies and individuals associated with Khan, who is believed to have tried to sell the secrets of Pakistan's nuclear technology.
